Learn SRM – Part 4.6 – Create Cluster and Volumes in HP VSA

In previous post, we created a management group. Now we need to create Cluster and Volumes in HP VSA.

  • Login to HPE StoreVirtual Centralized Management Console.
  • Click on Management Group – ‘Pathshala-Protected-Group”.

  • Click on Management Group Tasks in right panel.
  • Click on New Cluster.

  • Select Standard Cluster and Click on Next.

  • Give name of Cluster and select VSA system.

  • Add Virtual IP which you will use when adding iSCSI targets in ESXi host. We will see in next post.

  • Create Volume and give a appropriate name. Click on Next.

  • You have completed Management Groups, Cluster, and Volumes. Review the summary. Click on Close.

  • Review the console and perform same steps for Recovery Management group.

  • Here I have created a Cluster and Volume for Recovery Management group.
